Initially when we looked for images of a gallery interior we found a lot of images like the ones above. When we came together to discuss what we'd found, we all agreed that these images were far too modern and we all were thinking of something much more classic. I'm talking high ceilings, intensely elaborate frames that are bigger than the painting itself, and big stands with old greek men on them. A bit like this but not an awful film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWDwJIBqjSU

Joe mentioned that the National Portrait Gallery looked a lot like the interior we were going for, so we researched it and it was pretty much bang on! Showed it to the group and they were all excited about it, and Maik and Dave were able to get a much more accurate picture of what we were all going for. Next stop: researching the painting!
